Unidentified "No" Icon on Upper Right Corner

Where the heck did this "No" icon come from and how do I get rid of it? I've dug deep & have no clue. It just randomly showed up after one of the updates.

Are you referring to the circle with the diagonal slash as the the 'no' icon. If so that means you have no cellular signal. Since I don't know which device you have, if it is a Verizon device, I do recall at one time they had a phone(s) that when you turned on Wi-Fi (as you do in the picture) it disabled the cellular connection so you weren't using your data plan.

So try turning off WiFi and go outside for a clearer signal and see if it goes way.

I don't pay a carrier - just use the WiFi. Bought my Nexus 10 in Spring of 2013 & just started seeing that icon over the last several months. No worries if it's just the data signal. Now that I think of it...you're right, I have seen this on my phone. I must be tired. Thanks for your reply 😊
