Which physical store will likely carry Nexus 4? I'm willing to give up to $400. ($50 extra)

T mobile.... unfortunately it probably won't be $400 unless they run a special sometime perhaps near the holidays.

Thanks. But does T-Mobile sell the GSM version? I thought they were CDMA operators.

Ah, ok. Thanks guys. One more thing, is it the same device as what's sold on Google Play Store? Is it unlocked? I heard there could be some alterations. I wouldn't want any bloatware or splash screens or branding.

So I guess its best of the google pay. I know in Australia Telstra will not sell it due to them "focusing" on LTE (Irony is they only allow LTE for plans), so hopefully optus or someone sells it.

I believe that's just a strategy, sure they'll sell a few, but really it strengthens Google and tmo's relationship and that's all.

Surprised? T-Mo is also asking $369 ($419 before MIR) on contract for the Note 2.

They'll sell some, and its probably somewhat important for Google to have at least a tiny bit of retail presence. T-Mobile is the perfect carrier to do this on because they'll actually just let Google do whatever they want.

I actually think the T-Mo version will be fairly successful. I think the N4 up against their other phone lineup is going to be very impressive and not everyone who walks into a T-Mo store will even know this is up for sale on the Play store.

Normies are not as informed as you might think.
