Do you think the nexus 4 will sell out the next day of release?

I was wondering if the nexus 4 will sell out one day after its released?

Welcome and I doubt it would, were not dealing with Apple or Xiaomi were they limit stock to stage sell outs for PR.

there are lot of unknows here. so i would say at some point it would sell out but not on day 1.
you should also know that Nexus 4 has got a lot of interest from consumer. looking at all the threads

anyone wanna throw odds on whether there are any left from the play store on the 16th.... damn payroll change is stretching out payday a full week

Well this is the first time a Nexus has ever been sold directly by Google in the Play Store (except the Nexus 7). The Galaxy Nexus wasn't sold by Google until mid 2012 after being released in Oct 2011.

Every Nexus phone has had a different launch strategy, so you can't really lump them together when looking at sales.

I hope not. I'll be getting my Nexus money this friday. Hopefully the lack of LTE and bad benchmarks/battery life and only being 8GB will make it easier for me to get my Nexus day one.

It's called a slickdeal effect and I'd say its entirely possible. They may not be Apple but that means they don't have the supply Apple does either. So who knows exactly how many are rdy to be shipped out on opening day.

I have a question and it's a good one. So Google only ships from one place right? Like when I think about all the people in the US that are gonna get a nexus it kinda worries me. But when I think about all the other countries I get scared haha. I won't be able to order until around 4am eastern time!
