Bide my time by downloading the 4.2 update for my Nexus 7 and Galaxy Nexus, and get the 16GB.

Won't happen here. There haven't even been any good reviews out in my country, not to mention that every website seems to just quote the anandtech review about the "poor" battery and "poor" benchmarks.

I have a $100 gift card to a store which stocks the N7 and saying their waiting on google's shipment. They only markted the N7 up by $18 so might aswell use it. If that doesn't work - as I have no phone at the moment - broke it. Play with myself till it arrives.

even though I know it doesn't go on sale until the 13th, I still go to the google playstore everyday, and see if they were tricking us, and it's really available now. Hey, a guy can dream :-)

Same. 16GB isn't enough that I'd need to manage space on it as well, so might as well save money and manage space with 8GB.

I don't see any logic in this post

Why wouldn't anyone wanna spend only as extra $50 for DOUBLE the space? That's a dinner for 2 or a stop or two to the gas station for most.
