Re: 74 hours and 35 minutes and counting!
Thanks, a lot of its own residents debate that but I like it. Its going under a lot of redevelopment at the moment. Mainly trying to get rid of dero's out the city. I prefer it over Brisbane, particularly with weather, but land is alot more expensive which is a down size - particularly as were not a big city compared to others the high value doesn't seam right.
I am actually considering going to a store, as JB HI FI messaged me saying they might stock it, it just depends on the shipment and their nexus 7 price was only $18 more - same cost as shipping so... ill see how it plays out (+ I have a $100 gift card to there)Last edited by Fairclough; 11-09-2012 at 04:13 PM.

Ooh my gawd! I want this phone!!! I'm coming from the Motorola triumph on virgin mobile ....make sense? The only other smart phone, if you want to call it that, I've had was the iPhone 3s. Do you understand why I'm so stoked to get this phone?

Re: 74 hours and 35 minutes and counting!
I don't care if it goes on sale anywhere from midnight until 7am as long as I don't have to be sitting at work, at one of my deliveries trying to buy my nexus with my tiny iPhone.

Re: 74 hours and 35 minutes and counting!
So nervous, had heard so many bad things about Android, about pre-paid phones, about the risks of buying online. I'm a wreck, there's so many things that can go wrong.

Re: 74 hours and 35 minutes and counting!
Are you assuming it will launch at midnight on the 13th?
i think it will be a safe(r) bet to assume that since Google is in California, they will release it between 00:01 - 08:00 PST.
Regardless I will be on the computer refreshing starting at midnight, Eastern Time :-P - 11-10-2012, 01:08 PM #17
Re: 74 hours and 35 minutes and counting!
Well you know the usual, my GS3 is bricked after just 10 days, the battery is dead and it's just 12 o'clock, google is watching your every move. Etc... EDIT: from customers and co-workers.
As with Pre-paid, I'm going to be in Solavei and the pyramid scheme behind it seems so fishy.
This will be my first buy online so I'm kind of nervous about it. Is mostly me acting like an old man. - 11-10-2012, 01:24 PM #18

Re: 74 hours and 35 minutes and counting!
I don't know how the law is where you live, but over here you can ALWAYS send the item back within 14-days of receiving it, without any reason and full refund.
That's why I LOVE online shopping, much better than buying things in a regular store, can always test it and if I don't like it just send it back! (Even though I must say that I've never done that, but knowing you could is still nice).
Also it's Google. Not exactly a small company, so I don't know why there would be anything to be nervous about, even if it's your first buy online.
