This only applies if you are outside the US or countries where Google does not ship.
For us, who are not in the play store approved countries, going to play store-->Devices only tells you that Google play is not available in your country.
And you want a confirmatory mail when the N$ goes live, dont you
Simply download tor browser bundle, install, run firefox, and try going to the Google play store devices.

You should see my schools filter half the sites we need to do work on are blocked but porn sites aren't. Then again all our IT staff do is "Test" to see what is best for students e.g play on an Ipad, ipod touch, laptops but for some reason they have an xbox 360 and ps3? They claim they are building 3 new servers but probably for their gaming.

How come you don't order it off ebay? I noticed there are a few on ebay with obvious mark ups like this LG Nexus 4 E960 16GB Factory Unlocked 4 7" True HD IPS Quad S4 Pro CPU 2GB | eBay if you include $20 for shipment. Its only $50 more then the google store and if you think about that they would make what $20 profit as it would cost around $30 to mail it again. Thats if the seller is American add another $77 profit since the google store sells the N4 $77 more in then Aus store then US

Yeah I know I suck at my grammar, I don't know how I pass English to be honest. I guess after the release the price will come down, you will atleast expect a $30 mark up for postage. I am going off the 16gb being $399 Australian (while in the US store its $313 Ausd)

No thanks. The mark up price does not justify anything!!! Lemme get mine directly from the play store

I can get it from the play store but for me its still marked up 75 odd dollars in the store compared to the US price.

Which still is lower than the price here. The 16GB is 350? which equals $445, it's still a low price but compared to America/Australia it's a rip off-
But it's ok. The UK is being ripped off as well, their price is the same as ours, and then there are so many countries that don't even get the phone.... So meh, I can live with it (even though it still annoys me a little).
