I'm sure A lot of this has to do with resale intentions...

All those Nexus 4's that are selling for ridiculous prices on Ebay.
Being out of stock is not the only incentive here anymore. All those who plan to sell the device to countries who do not have access to the Play Store, have a big part of this mess I'm sure.
They could sell the device for a lot moe than the Play store while still being under LG's retail plans for those markets.

I'd be curious to see the number of orders that had the max allowed number of devices on them...

Well, yeah... That's how it works. A lot of the importers/resellers in the European countries bought up a whole bunch of these things for sure. They know they can instantly make a great return posting them for sale right away.

So I lost out on buying a phone I really wanted to get because some *** wanted to make a buck, I think Google should know that people should not be able to order over 2 at a time and even at that, keep track of how many was ordered and make maximum of 2......

I'm pretty sure there was also a lot of people who accidentally ordered multiple phones. I ended up ordering two phones accidentally and I canceled the other order as soon as I got the chance. I feel a bit bad for all of those who might not have gotten theirs because of Google's servers going yahoo, but everything will work out in the end.

All those hacks can sell off the first batch, they're welcome to them. After seeing some 4.2 glitches on my N7, I'm going to wait for incentives or the release of 4.2.1 to get the N4.
