How's the stock keyboard?

I had a s3 and the stock keyboard was terrriibbllleee! Anyone have the phone or seen reviews?

Just go download it. Both the Android 4.1 and 4.2 keyboards have been pulled out and put on the Play Store.

I'm using 4.2 on the Galaxy Nexus and the keyboard is fine. Exact same as 4.1 but it has the gesture typing option if you're into that. You can turn it off if you want to though.

Its just a stock keyboard though, nothing fancy, it just works. Everyone likes different things... there are dozens of great keyboards out there for people to try. No one can tell you what keyboard you'll like.

I was using an international S3 before getting the Nexus and had a terrible time with the keyboard.. Always hitting b instead of space etc.. The keyboard on the Nexus seems much better to me and the prediction seems to be slightly better to me as well.

prediction/dictionary improved a lot in 4.1. I am sure google improved it further in 4.2

I really like it. I have been playing with the " swipe" action and word prediction is pretty good.
