I'm being paranoid here, but maybe rest of us are in the same boat and should be expecting this mail instead of the shipping one :(
Same order here, UK 16GB.
Bit pathetic taking orders for more units than they actually had available, why not just carry on taking them even now?
Still, free shipping - but 3 weeks instead of 3 days .....

Just got the same message for my order for a 16GB - it was loaded showing delivery on the 15/11/2012 (or shipping depending on the country set to UK or US).
I'm in the UK.
Still not much I can do about it - at least I'm getting my £10 back for the shipping and my order is in so I don't have to keep going back to the web page to check for inventory coming in.
I placed mine at 9:01 AM from the US. (the 8 gb phone and the bumper accessory. )
Mine was shipped today at like 12. Since I live in Missouri which is like a state over from Kentucky, will I possibly receive mine tomorrow? Or for sure Monday?

same email (UK 16Gb), annoyed that people who got orders in after me got theirs today and mine still says delivery today.
My GNex is going down in value every day, this was part fund for this phone and I have the Mazuma pack ready but it can't be used by next week (phone recycling)
I also signed up to Three UK with a microSIM, that will now be sat doing nothing but costing me money for 3 weeks and my O2 contract runs out in a week
Google have really screwed me over with this!

What did everyone's status show prior to receiving this, estimated shipping date or pre-order?
What's also annoying is their email me when it's available option that I never got an email for when it became available.
This will be (or maybe I will decide would have been) my first Android phone. It's very puzzling how such a large company can get things so wrong. Making the obvious comparison with Apple probably isn't worth making but this wouldn't happen with an apple launch. Still I will wait as I'm keen to try something new after being an iPhone user for four years. Sigh.

My order showed "estimated shipping" :(:
estimated shipping if I had the page set to US, estimated delivery if it's set to UK - either way 15/11/2012 - I'm in the UK
Still shows that even though I've received the email.
