Is it possible to have the slide to unlock feature work along with having the pattern unlock set at say 10 minutes?

I want the slide to unlock to enable right after the screen goes off and still have the pattern security measure. I know I have been able to do this with skinned phones but can't figure it on the Nexus 4.

Its not possible on 4.1.2 and haven't heard of any 4.2 change allowing it...

Think you'd need to use a custom lockscreen or app to make this happen. AFAIK this functionality isn't in stock 4.2, or previous versions for that matter.
