nexus 4 crackling earpiece?

Is everyone else having this problem? Its constantly crackling and making noise even when the phone is locked.

I have this, seems to be coming from the processor or something. But noise also comes out through the earpiece and the person on the other end's voice is getting distorted at higher volumes or when they talk loudly.

I've asked Google for a replacement, but don't know when that will come.
