Backorder Thread (Nov 20th and onwards)

It would be nice if they would say, we are having more made, it will take 3 weeks, or ....we are organizing all the mass e-mail/orders still and we are putting orders out slowly the next 3 weeks. It would put a lot of wondering to rest.

They just don't want to be seen as they did anything wrong, they just "sold out".

That's a stretch. More than likely just refund your shipping.

I just received an email from google:

"Thank you for your patience.

I have spoken with a specialist, your device is currently back stocked.

I understand your frustration in wanting to receive your device. We are working to ship all items in your order as quickly as possible within a 3 week time frame .

You will receive an email confirmation as soon as your order is processed and on its way."

Also my CC originally had the two orders I made for the 16G units in the CC's pending category for the a couple of days, then they both disappeared - no pending or other charges. This morning when I woke up, the CC showed two pending CREDITS for the same amount of the original credits. I think Google is trying to "fix" the accounts in some way.

I will just wait for the arrival of the email, but it looks like it may be another week or more. :'(

For Sure; I even asked to add a bumper to my order since its back ordered anyways... No Luck... the system is complicated enough as-is apparently.

Well, it's been fun. I'm picking up a private sale Nexus 4 tonight, brand new in box, so I don't really care when this thing ships. Not going to keep checking back here anymore.

Hi All,

Please make a quick post here IF you are back ordered and have received a shipping notice. Maybe only post ..

HOME COUNTRY (state/province/city if you feel like it) and ESTIMATED SHIPPING DATE

Perhaps this will give the folks in limbo an idea of where Google's backlog stands. If we see this thread grow quickly we know that the backlog is clearing, and perhaps what regions are getting theirs first. No further discussion necessary.
