I still want a refund too and will be calling google again about it. I just called today earlier and asked where my device was and if I could get a refund. They passed my request onto a specialist. If I don't here back from them in tomorrow I am going to call back and ask again for a refund on the shipping. I paid for 2 day shipping and that is what I expect. Anytime something does not arrive 2 day when that service is paid for, the company you are buying your merchandise from typically refunds it. Google should do the same.
What does your Order Processed: Ready for UPS time stamp on your updated tracking say? If it still shows 11/30 you have a case, if they changed it to 12/5, I don't think you will get very far. And you are still getting it in the 1-2week time frame you were promised at the time you ordered. I think they will fall back on that and just say the 11/30 email was a mistake and deny your claim. Hope I am wrong and you get a refund though.
