Found a way to contact them, and asked for an update and to be "refreshed" since so many people who have ordered after us have already received their phones. Received the following automated response:



I actually wouldn't mind this as an explanation if so many people weren't getting phones who ordered in December, with even longer shipping times quoted to them...
I received a similar response. Supposedly, we still have to wait for a decent answer by a human being, which may take a day or two...

Rest assure that if you have gone to pre order that your ode is about to shop.mine went to preorder at 2:00am on the 12th.at 3:00 am on the 13th it said my phone had shipped...ON THE 12th and would be arriving on the 14th:D

yeah...i know its long, but i still keep hopes high ! ...... Order date: Nov 28, 2012 9:46:21 AM EST , its in morning batch of nov 28...so still hoping to get it before 25th december ! :)

Still nothing so far, been sending a lot of emails no reply, yesterday got an automated reply saying that my order will ship on 12 dec night, which basicly was the same night.
However nothing happened and i received no confirmation, and now i am sending again mails to get through and understand what is happening with my order.

I dont understand why they send an email stating the time while they cant deliver it :/

Like a number of you, I have been waiting patiently for my nexus 4 which was ordered on the 27th to be processed. My status hasn't changed since that day, still reading pending so I decided to send Google a note which is as followed:

I am writing this note in regard to the order which I placed for the Nexus 4 16GB on the night of the twenty-seventh of November at eight forty-seven pm. After placing this order I received a confirmation through my Google Mail account and my Google Wallet account which stated that the order was pending. This status has not changed since that first confirmation over two weeks ago.

I have been monitoring the website, androidcentral.com which has set up a forum on the Nexus 4 and specifically in my situation the heading: nexus-4-ordered-november-27-order-status-tracking, here is the link:

What I am reading and seeing form that forum is that orders placed weeks after mine have been fulfilled, I am also reading that some customers who have been waiting as I have on orders placed the day of the twenty-seventh have been successful in having their orders fulfilled by reordering this device as late as late week, and then canceling their order for the twenty-seventh. These orders have also been fulfilled.

I would like to know why this situation exist, why is my order still stating pending when other orders placed well after mine have been shipped and fulfilled. Reading the forum it seems that there has been no order on Google's part in orders placed and orders processed from the launch of this device.

Being a real person and and as I write this note, a unhappy customer, I would really appreciate a response by a real person in regard to my order and its status, and not a canned message. Thank you.

status changed from "pending" to "pre-ordered", what does it mean? similar to backordered? cc not charged yet.

At this point I don't think it means anything. I've come to the conclusion that Google is just throwing darts at a wall of orders while blind folded and sending out orders they hit.

Exact same thing here. I hope they reply soon. If they don't by tomorrow, I'll try my luck ordering another phone on Monday, since that seems the way to go now.

Has anyone that ordered an 8GB on 11/27 received it? Are they even shipping out yet? Everything I see here is pertaining to 16GB shipping.

We are working to ship all items in your order as quickly as possible within the 3 week timeframe. You will receive an email confirmation as soon as your order is processed and on its way.
