    Default APN Settings = GONE

And I can't add them back.

I configured the ATT HSPA+ APN.

Just woke up and noticed my N4 had no phone/data service.

Went to the APN settings and it had none.

Resetting to default didn't bring back the default Att settings.

Tried adding the APN again and after saving it, it wouldn't come on the APN list.

I popped the sim back to my iP4s and it worked perfectly.

    WTF???

Well, this is not my field really, but I believe APN settings have nothing to do with "phone" per se, but are all about data traffic.

Having said that, if you had no phone service at all, this might have caused your APN settings to temporarily disappear, etc. The real question it seems to me is, why did you have no phone service.

Were you simply in a dead zone? Do you normally have many bars in that location, or just one-half bar? What happens if you step outside where (presumably) you have a stronger signal?

I have perfect reception at my home.

I HAD perfect reception with my N4 until this happened.

There's no issue with ATT right now 'cause I popped the sim to my 4S and works fine.

Still, I called ATT and they confirmed that there was no issue and my area.

    Called Google.

Had to hard reset the phone and THEN it worked...

    Not good.

I will still call back for a replacement for the crackling sound on calls

But if this issue happens again, I'm out and back to iOS.

Just hoping it was a one time thing.
