How much is Google Services effecting your battery?

Why is Google Services taking up so much of my battery use? The CPU total is only 38s and the keep awake time is 3m 16s.

By contrast, HD Widgets has used 5m 3s of CPU time and 23m 35s of keep awake, but has a far less percentage of battery life.

Any ideas?

Even if you have HSPA+ it doesn't always display it as so. I'll get 25mbps down with "H" but when I'm not actively using the internet it displays "3G".

How did you get your screen not to use most of your battery? Every android phone I used the screen used most of my battery. As for your problem, I think Google now uses a ton of battery so I turned off my location so it's not keeping track of everywhere I am and traffic updates and what not. I turn it on only when I use the GPS.

Yeah... not sure what you are doing but a lot of people have their screen in the highest percentage of the battery usage except you only have 4%. Who knows.

google play service is not even on my list. the least is wifi with 4%
using it for about 24 hrs.

I'm guessing his actual screen time is very low.
