Since you are in T.O, you will get it a day before I do. I'm in London and know the package will drive by on the 401 to the sort facility in Toronto and then after sorting it will make its way back here.

Are you serious?! This is what they do? They send it to Toronto and then send it back to London?
That's messed up.

Departure scan from East Syracuse at 1:07 AM. That's 4 hours away from Montreal. I feel like driving there and intercepting the UPS guy. -__-

I had a Departure Scan from Maumee, OH, United States at 01:07am which is 5 hours from Toronto I would for sure got and mean the UPS guy to take it.

My ETA is Tuesday and i need to work kinda sucks. Still hoping that because the package is so close to my location now it will arrive on Monday

See and my delivery is scheduled for Thursday. I got earlier email but you get yours 2 days earlier. :beer: all that stressing was for naught.

In terms of delivery. Put a note on your door for the ups delivery guy to call you when they deliver it. You can zoom home and get it if no one is home to get it.

Flight overseas for 3 months: evening of 12/17/2012!

Looks like I'll have to wait another week or so to get my hands on the 4. I just hope UPS will leave it on my porch so my buddy can pick it up and send it on to me! My house is on a very busy pedestrian street in downtown Ottawa. I guess I could leave a note for the UPS guy, asking him to leave it somewhere. I tried calling UPS CSR to ask them to change delivery address or to leave special instructions for the driver to leave it on the porch. She said she can't change shipping address before a first delivery attempt(understandable) and she can't leave instructions for the driver at all(seriously?!).

Ah well, might as well enjoy the rush of anticipation because a second after unboxing, its all over!

As for meeting the driver somewhere, it is out of the question. The packages are on a transport and would be next to impossible finding a small 1lbs box. They are on the transport till they hit the sort facility. Once there they get sorted according to region and then put on another transport and taken to the depots. There, the packages are off loaded, sorted once again and then loaded on the UPS trucks that you see running around the city/town.

I have a door man in the building that will take it for me so that's not a problem. Cant miss work so it kinda sucks that it will have to wait until the evening when i get home Then i still need a micro sim so i hope to get home early enough to go to Rogers and take a new sim.

I was kidding of course about meeting the UPS guy but i think you can actually call UPS and tell them to leave the package in a specific facility and then pick it up from there or something.

Well, I'm losing hope with my order. No charges on my CC, no shipping notifications. I'm leaving the province for 10 days next Thursday afternoon so I don't think I'll get it by Wednesday. I did call Google just now (15 minute wait time) and the guy wasn't any help. Basically standard answer of it will ship next week before the 1-2 weeks is up but didn't have any more details than that.

I've been reading a lot of postings. I know we are all anxious for N4 to arrive, but we need to remember, this is the most busy busy... season of the entire year for all courier company's. They are so overwhelmed with the burst in volume, chances are that some of us will not get our parcels before Christmas.

same issue here man..in toronto ordered 3:05:03 got the 1-2 weeks but not a single shipping email..bank says no cc charge..really mad and frustrated right now..called them too and they were of no help whatsoever, said they would forward my case to a "specialist"..jeez man..dont know what else to do

Not necessarily correct. The courier companies most of the time dont work at a 100% capacity, so when a truck/aircraft goes from point A to point B it's most of the time not 1005 full and could carry more load. Now during holiday season (specially Christmas/New Years) those loads go close to 100% or to 100% and in addition the companies add more trucks/aircraft to help the large loads.

I really dont think that what's happening here with shipping or not shipping the devices has anything to do with the courier companies and holiday season.

Left Maumee at 1:07am but WHERE IS IT NOW!?! Its expected to arrive Tuesday, but I wish I could somehow track its every move on GPS and watch it as it moves closer to me on GMaps or something.... haha
