Has anyone removed the back glass yet?
I've seen a lot of concern over the back glass cover, from it's likelihood of damage, to it causing the phone itself to move around on smooth surfaces. Has anyone tried removing it? If so, how does the Nexus 4 look and feel? Seems to me (from pics and videos I've seen) that it might not look bad without it.

Re: Has anyone removed the back glass yet?
I am hoping it is removable myself but just the glass not the back cover, and we all can get something other than glass to put on the back as a replacement.

Re: Has anyone removed the back glass yet?
Best you can do now is take out all the glass and put in a case to cover up the broken back or go and order a new phone or try to get glass replaced, too bad nothing you can replace the broken glass with.

Re: Has anyone removed the back glass yet?
I actually like the glass back, as I did on my iphone 4, but you definitely have to be careful with it sliding on smooth surfaces. I destroyed my iphone 4 (and then switched to android) by placing it on top of the toilet and it just slid right off into the toilet bowl. Still, that was 8 months into the phone and no cracks, so I'm hoping I can be just a bit more careful with the N4.

Re: Has anyone removed the back glass yet?
The only problem I see with removing the back glass is that it will expose the camera and replacing it will be tricky. The flash has a cutout in the glass for it. The camera looks through the actual glass back.

Re: Has anyone removed the back glass yet?
And if the phone didn't come with a glass rear, everyone would be trying to figure out how to put one on....
