I only seem to be getting ~8Mb/s on mine and I'm thinking it could be the APN. Does anyone know what the three hspa+42 apn settings are?

I made a simple search and this is what i came up with -

APN type: Internet+MMS

Thanks.. But those are the same as the normal ones (found them easily) I was hoping there were some different ones for their hspa+42 network to enable the faster speeds :O

Is it even possible to have different APN settings than what the company said?

You should message Alex Dobie (on G+ or twitter- @alexdobie) and see what settings he had on his. I remember in his second opinion review of Nexus 4 he said he was getting 22 Mbps on Three UK so he could check his settings let you know what they are, then you can see if they're different than yours.
