Just got my sim card and google search wants a manual update - what's up with this?

New: Take pictures and videos

Allows the app to take pictures and video with the camera. This permission allows the app to use the camera at any time without your confirmation.

edit:
The update also allows text/sms to be edited, read or sent without confirmation!

they added a new feature recently to search web by image "Search by camera when at museums or shops"
thats the camera permission.

text/sms to be edited, read or sent is a feature to send text/sms from the search app. like if you say "Send text to [Contact Name] [message]" google now will send a text or even call the contacts. say like "call Home"
