Previously I was using SipDroid but I switched to CSipSimple because I read it had better sound - it does seem a bit better. But since I installed it, the battery has been running down almost twice as fast. It doesn't show up in settings->battery, but it's the only change I made to my phone. When I used SipDroid, the phone while idling (i.e. sitting on my desk) would lose about 0.8% per hour. So in 6 hours, it would lose 4-5%. With CSipSimple, it loses 9% in 6 hours. That's a HUGE difference. Are there any solutions for this? Any settings in CSipSimple to help with battery usage?

I'm on Wifi.

Find the CSipSimple support forum. The dev is very nice and very responsive. He has a N4 now too so he should be on top of this if there is a problem.
