I'm looking forward to trying it on the N4 whenever it is launched in NYC.

If those are the speeds we should expect that's not much better than what some get on DC HSPA 42.

Well, we already knew that H+ speeds are great!

But someone just happening upon LTE in KC isn't really a prime example of what to expect. Tmo has alot of testing ahead before you will see peak LTE performance.

I'm more looking to when they merge with MetroPCS and it expands their coverage for HSPA+.

Notice the upload. The download's th same as HSPA+ but upload is much better. That helps on VOIP apps and video calls.

Jerry covered it here as well. It's a test...not fully live and functioning it would seem.

I don't get it. Hspa is so much better and also better for your battery.

True about the battery - ideally, I'd like to be able to switch between the two and have the choice of better battery or better speed when needed.

This is probably just a test.

Keep in mind, T-Mobile is launching 3GPP Release 10, which is LTE Advance. A first in the US.

That's not advanced they are testing. Just their standard band 4 lte is what they are testing. LTE advanced even in testing would see far greater speeds
