Re: What can I do with a SIM-less Nexus 4?
walmart.com has the straight talk micro sim for AT&T in stock. Also, check out their bundle with the $45 card ... saves you $5. I'm waiting for my SIM card - should be arriving today.

Actually. I was told by the T-Mobile rep that I got sim at today when I was at the mall to call them at the end of the cycle. I had her just activate it on the $50 plan right away. But according to her if you call and tell them you had it set up at walmart, and they put you on the wrong plan. She said it usually will work. She said that the $30 plan was a walmart and tmobile web only, they cant do it at the store. Anyway, I ordered a sim for no reason, at least it was only a buck and now I have a back up.

Re: What can I do with a SIM-less Nexus 4?
True, based on my eperience. I was told at the T Mobile store that they can give and activate SIM cards for all no contract monthly 4G plans other than the web-only $30 (100 minutes 5 GB) plan.

Re: What can I do with a SIM-less Nexus 4?
OK. Here is some of what I've done so far:
Unlocked the bootloader.
Set up all of my Google stuff that I already have on my Nexus 7.
Take some photos.
Listen to some tunes with Google Music.
Listen to some podcasts with BeyondPod.
Get root.
I think it's time to read the manual. For those of you who don't know, it's on Google Books. And I'm going to read it on my Nexus 7. I'm still going to do all of my reading on the tablet.

Re: What can I do with a SIM-less Nexus 4?
Thanks, that's what I always wanted!

I ordered the T-Mobile sim Wednesday and It's still not here.
In the meantime, I set up my Google Voice account and my old cell number already ported. So I have two cell phones with no cell service.
But I have a nice voice mailbox.

Re: What can I do with a SIM-less Nexus 4?
Can the manual only be accessed once the device is in your google account? I'm still waiting for delivery, wanted to look at the manual but can only find the nexus 7 manual (which I have).
[edit]: Found the direct link here and was able to add it...strange it would not come up in search at all...
