Default T-Mobile $50 Prepaid Promotion. 500MB Full speed

Had no idea this was going on untill I checked my account online. But if you sign up for the 100 MB full speed $50 plan, you get an extra 400 MB free. Not much but I won't complain!

Looks like it's just for one month, but a little extra data while I try out their network is perfect!

Have you considered Solavei? They use the T-Mobile prepaid network. $49 for unlimited talk/text/data. The data is 4g for the first 4GB.

They also have a $30 plan for 100 minutes unlimited text and 5gb of data. Its about the best deal on the market. Solavei and straight talk are also good

Actually I'm testing the GrooveIP app at the moment. Just seeing how well it works on edge and 3G. So far its not too bad, may switch to the $30 plan at the end of the month.

That $30 plan is a great value if you can make the minutes work. We tried GrooveIP - it was fine over wifi but got too choppy for us out and about - especially when on the move. My husband kept driving around the block while talking for a test. An actual conversation was a struggle.

    YMMV. Good Luck.

Yeah so far its been a 50 50 shot at having a good call on edge. First 2 calls werent bad, last 2 were horrible. Haven't been able to try on 3G yet, unfortunately no hspa+ where I work/live. I think edge just might not have enough speed to make a good call every time.
