Any way to change system fonts w/o rooting?

Hey all,

It's not for me (I'm unlocked and rooted), but a friend just bought the Nexus 4 and would like to change her system fonts. Seems that she had the SGIII, which has flipfonts preinstalled. I couldn't find the flipfonts apk. Didn't even know if it'd even work on the N4. In any case, does anyone know of any non-rooted apps that could do this?

Thanks.

I don't think so. Some poking around revealed ways to do it on older devices by tinkering with some deep system files, but the instructions were very specific to certain models (like the Moto Droid X and such). The apps I found all seemed to require root. If the GS3 has something that can do this, you could try asking on the XDA GS3 boards for the APK, but there's no guarantee that it would work.

Yeah, thanks. I found what I thought was a flipfonts apk., but it didn't work at all ... I'm gonna root her phone tomorrow -- told her it's the only way!
