    Default kill it

I'm sure it's not a big deal, but it honestly looks kind of tacky. I've had this phone for a full day and between taking it in and out of my pocket and handling it the edges of the sticker is completely white.

I had the att htc one x and the imei sticker was of a type of plastic.

This probably isn't worthy of a thread, but whatever. Love the phone.

ypu are suppose to take off the sticker when you get the phone. its not a screen protector in any mean.

I still have the protector on the back that came with the phone, but I peeled the IMEI sticker off right away. It peels right off. Not the best idea to be publicly showing your IMEI number in public, but kept the plastic on so I don't get scratches on the glass.

The IMEI number is also laser-etched into the SIM card tray in the event that you ever desperately need to locate the number while the phone can't be powered on.

Of course, Settings -> About -> Status is always the easiest way to find the IMEI.

    see. i am ed.

do i feel like an *****.

but i will say, i am leaving the plastic film on both sides of my phone until i get my zigg protectors in the mail. i can live with the power and volume icons on the front of my screen for a few more days.

but i must reiterate, i feel ed. i just assumed the sticker was supposed to stay on. the sticker on the htc one x was not removable, i'm almost certain. well...it was a type of sticker, so it was probably removable, but i picked at it a little bit and it seemed like it was meant to stay on the phone. whatever. i suck.

EDIT. i see they edit out re - tarded. fair enough.

Just consider it a lesson learned . But yes the IMEI sticker can(and should) be peeled off without removing the whole plastic protector from the phone.
