As stated in the blog on AC main page, it will probably see its update also since its part of the Nexus family.

Question is will it be now or later?

It does seem odd but, if the purpose of 4.2.2 is to address bugs that are specific for those two devices, then it makes sense.

Except it is the nexus 10, nexus 7 and galaxy nexus. We also have most of the same bugs as the galaxy nexus so i'd hope they would address us as well soon. ( though it has literally been like a couple hours since the update started so who knows)

Obviously the Nexus 4 will be updated. The only reason I can think of why it is behind the others is that maybe there are some Nexus 4 specific fixes included in it's own package.

Ha, only in a nexus forum can you find people upset that they are a few days behind on receiving 4.2.2. This is exactly why I can't wait to order mine.
