Nexus 4 Email questions from a newby!
Hi, had my Nexus 4 for a couple of weeks, and love it, but have a few questions about it if that's ok!
Firstly several re: email...
1. How do I save pictures from emails?
2. Can I emptly the email recycle bin?
3. Can I put a deleted email back from the recycle bin into my inbox?
Others....
The small cellular signal indicator often has a letter near it.. sometimes H, sometimes G etc. What does that mean?
any help much appreciated.

Re: Nexus 4 Email questions from a newby!
H means that you're connected to your operator's HSPA network. (Many operators, such as T-Mobile, call HSPA "4G" even though it's slower than LTE, the other 4G.) G means you're connected to GPRS, which is slower than HSPA. If you see E, it means you're connected to EDGE, which is faster than GPRS but slower than HSPA.
Re: Nexus 4 Email questions from a newby!
Your other questions depend to some extent on whether you are using the Gmail app or the Email app since they function slightly differently.

Still struggling with the email problems... it's the standard email app as supplied with the phone and not the gmail one.
Thanks

3. Can I put a deleted email back from the recycle bin into my inbox?
Yes. Click on the folder icon at the bottom. Then go to the trash folder. Press and hold on the message that you want to get back. After letting go, you'll have the option of moving it to the inbox folder.

I don't use this email app, but for saving pictures, have you tried long pressing on the picture?
Re: Nexus 4 Email questions from a newby!
I'm having the nexus 4 & have configured my corporate email account on it. The widgets look cool on the screen, however need to know if there is a filter option or mail sorting option? May be Sort by date, sort by sender, unread, attachment. If yes how to enable that. Its become very difficult to sort the email without this option.:(
Thanks,
Amit

From my personal experience only BlackBerry can fulfill my email needs. Apple, Windows, and especially Android can't get me my emails quickly.

I had Nolkia C7 with Symbian belle & it had awsome UI for native email which nexus 4 doesnt have. Any other way this can be added or update in next google update release. Really need the mail sorting option.
