I tried it out. Really like it so far. Seems slightly faster and a little more pleasing to the eyes. Overall, not revolutionary or anything but a worthy upgrade.

it will automatically update in couple of days. if you dont want to wait download the apk posted in the thread and install it manually using some file manager.

you don't even need file manager, just click on download link from your Nexus phone, and it will install

You can now remove apps from "my apps" where as before, they would still be listed. Helps keep the list clean for people that download lots of different apps to try. Very happy about this addition.

I thought they added this in the last big update to GP a few months back. Do you mean they had added the feature but it didn't work or what?

If they added it before I must have missed it! I couldn't find this functionality on my phone. I was able to access it on the PC/web version

Loving this new look for the Play Store now that I've been able to try it all out. And those 'textured' Action Bar backgrounds are gone too, which is great.
