Bluetooth instability 4.2.2

I know the previous version of JB (4.2?) had some N4 users experiencing problems with the Bluetooth. I never did and I've had my n4 for about 2 months now. I updated to 4.2.2 when it came out and just this week i'm having problems either turning it on, off or syncing. It was the 3rd or 4th time today I was syncing it with my car which was in the garage for a few days, so I hit sync and it just froze. I slid the slider to off and it just got stuck "turning off". 10 minutes later my phone just shut off on its own and I had to press/hold the power button 3 times before it booted up. Anyone else having similar problems? I'd rather not do a factory reset but do I have any other options? Wait for the next update which will probably be KLP?
