Cloning a phone setup with a Nandroid? Will it work?

I have a possible situation where I may have 2 lines that are attached to identical devices, but each has a different # and VZW 4G Sim.
I may use both devices on and off at the same time.

If I make a Nandroid of Phone #1, will it work if I install it on phone #2 to have it set up identically?

Both will have the same gmail account, but each will have a different phone # and MEID.

Yes it will work.. But I would rather use backing up and restoring data on the other phone.. Nandroid writes over the whole system and you might face a few complications.
