Hi. I have had my Nexus 4 for a few months and it's been working fine with no issues at all.........until today when I tried to make a call and there's no sound at all from the earpiece. I can use my bluebook car kit fine, and on speaker, but when I using the phone as normal there's no dialing sound or any other sound at all. Any ideas?

I don't mean to insult you, but it's always best to check the obvious first. While in a call, have you pushed the volume up button to make sure in-call volume isn't turned all the way down? This is different than ring volume; you have to be in a call to set it, I believe.

Checked all that and it's on full volume. I'm just a bit lost as to why it's happened.

No, not rooted. Using Nova launcher and that's about it. Haven't changed anything for a few weeks either.

Yes, rebooted and usual checks. Probably going to do a reset and see what happens. Just had a call and worked Ok, then tried to call my wife and nothing, and when she called me nothing. Very strange no volume buttons changed at all.
