    ...for a whopping $164.*

    No thanks, Nokia.

*From Nokia's Trade Up site. You can't specify memory, and they don't recognized "unlocked" as a carrier option but putting in T-Mobile and Unknown scored the same value.

Your not selling the phone to an end user who is paying top dollar. Your selling it to a company who wants to re-sell it for a profit.
If you expect full price sell it your self on amazon, craigs list, ebay, or to someone you know..
Any and all trade in programs have to pay a lower price so they can mark it up and make a profit but still be competitive.

I owned three Nokia phones over the years, everyone of them was a total piece of garbage.

I remember Nokia. They used to make some darn good flip phones back in the day.

None of the three I owned were part of that group.

Agreed. Had an old Nokia flip phone which was better than the Lumia 920.

I had a Nokia flip phone that was built like a tank, don't remember what model. I liked Nokia's back then because they always provided a good signal. Back then, that was the main thing. I only used my phone for calls and texts.

I had a Nokia lumia 710. My first smartphone. Well, if you can consider it a smartphone that is. It was a horrible piece of ...garbage.

Exactly. So why would anyone do it outside of convenience?
