So after almost having the phone for a year, I decided to root. I figured if I bricked it, it wouldn't be a brand new phone.

The sole reason for me to root was to improve Pandora, so I installed Beats+XLouder after rooting. It was supposed to improve the whole sound system of the phone. What happened? Nada. Nothing. Zilch. I think I am also supposed to install a new ROM to benefit from Beats+XLouder.

However, I have a happy ending.

1. I stumbled onto Viper4Android. My goodness. This thing makes Pandora sound 10 times better.
2. I then found GMusicFS. This app lets me use PowerAmp to listen to the songs I uploaded to Google Music. If you're a PowerAmp fan, you know this is a very nice capability. Imagine Google Music with a powerful equalizer.
3. I finally learned to create Tasker scenes. My Tasker menus now are all nice and pretty.
