I've been using the lite version of Google Voice for about a year now. I just use it for voicemail and nothing else. I'm on ST-AT&T. It takes about 10 rings before voicemail kicks in. If I reject a call, it takes about 6 rings to go to voice mail. Is there any way to change this, to shorten the time it takes for voicemail to pick up?
Also, I've had a couple of people tell me that as they are leaving a message, they hear a beep (as if their message was too long) and then it rings again and my voicemail message comes on again. Is anyone else experiencing this?
I currently do not have the app on my phone since that caused me to not be able to send MMS messages. But I can reinstall it if that's where I need to make changes in the answer time.
