Worth the update?

Hey guys I still have not updated my Nexus 4 to kit kat. Do you guys think I should go ahead and pull the trigger? I was mainly apprehensive because you lose the ability to tether and because my best friend's screen stopped responding to touch after the update. Any suggestions or opinions?

Assuming you mean the T-Mobile tethering issue, there is a fix for that here in the forums... just look down the topics a half-dozen or so threads in the list. As far as the touchscreen issues, I have not heard of anyone having that issue.

The current KitKat release is solid and reliable, I see no reason not to upgrade.

If the tethering is an issue, you can always unlock and root, it is extremely simple on Nexus 4 and there are tons of root-enabled apps that allow for various kinds of tethering.

Seconded. At this point there's really no reason not to update.
