I am using Android 5.1 phone (google Nexus 4-) why does it go on mute when I am on a call?

I am using Android5.1 phone (google Nexus 4-

While talking on the phone all of a sudden my phone goes on mute, though I can hear other person, or hang up, or music plyer starts it's own, I don't know how to clear this , do I have to take it to shop or I am not technical person, please help me.

Welcome to Android Central.

The first thing to try is a Cache Partition wipe. It's easily enough done and causes no loss of personal data.

If no good, try booting into Safe Mode, which will test whether a third-party app may be causing trouble. If the trouble does indeed stop, you will have to identify the app and uninstall it.
