Hi,
My Nexus 4 (latest software I think, Mako 16gb?) is stuck in boot-loop: it re-starts right after entering my PIN. Then is sometimes starts optimising apps.
Battery life is fine.
Tried everything: Clearing cache, starting in safe mode, etc.
Phone is not rooted (factory defaults: no Roms etc).
I don't know whether USB Debugging is on or not.
Lock state: locked.
Phone shows up in System Information (Android) - at least it did once, a while ago when I tried.
Have a Mac.
Downloaded SDK, ADB (but don't know how to use it), Fastboot (no idea what this is).
I have some files on the phone which I really need (some voice memos of family members that are I value a lot).
Is there any chance to save those files?
For example, can I maybe somehow put a new image on the phone WITHOUT deleting the user data (or wherever else the voice memo files are?) I heard of ADB but don't know if it will work in my case? How can I find out?
Thank you all so much for the help.
