Hi,
I have a unrooted Nexus 4. A couple months ago it was submerged in water for a couple minutes. I dried it up and it survived. However, I am in the following cycle now:
If I connect the charger and power down, then it stays powered down. The "battery charging" icon appears in the middle of the screen.
I did several factory resets.
I purchased a new battery.
Still shows the same behavior.
Any suggestions?
Thank you.

- Disconnect the battery
- Reconnect the battery and power up
- Phone starts normally and stays like that
- Power down
- Power up.
- Goes into an endless boot animation (4 colored balls)
- Power down
- Powers up by itself. Back to point 6
