These look good. Though without shots from another phone or having been there its hard to tell how accurate they are with color, how the did with exposure, etc

The photos are encouraging for sure. They're obviously not a good indicator of low-light and OIS capabilities, but I'll take it. :)

These look amazingly good, though of course it's to be expected that leaked samples wouldn't demonstrate weak performance. Still, better than images taken with my N4 on its best day.

Slightly off topic, but relevant in that this level of detail was clearly visible in the photo, who's the genius that thought it would be a good idea to daisy chain power strips (3rd image)?

I'm disappointed with the f2.4 lens, not exactly what some Google exec promised about Nexus 5 being "leaps & bounds" ahead in camera technology. It's only slightly better than Nexus 4, if even that. I guess the best is hopefully it matches the iPhone 5S's camera.

These could be undersampled images to get us to be exited at the announcement.
^^
1134 x 1512 was the highest resolution sample, a pretty low-res shot. I'm waiting to see what the camera gets out of the school zone and onto the open roads, so to speak.

Are you saying that the most you think you can hope for is matching the 5S's camera? If so, wouldn't that make it one of, if not the best smartphone camera on the market? Most of what I've seen about the 5S says that the camera is arguable the best one out there (as most iPhones in the past have been as well), so if the Nexus 5 camera is as good as the 5s it will be a great camera.

It's not the best, Top 5 for sure but I'd say the Lumia 1020 is first, then Note 3, then Xperia Z and then either the S4 or 5S...

Definitely the best "Nexus" camera to date. Need to see comparisons with the One, S4 and iCrap.

How can you tell they look good? I mean, sure, they look "sharp" but to me they look kinda grim/dark. Only way to tell is to either be there in person and see if it matches reality or do some comparison shots. I have a feeling it'll be an average camera like all other Nexus devices.

Those pics definitely look good, good enough for me atleast.
