Fall pictures. All are unaltered and (I think) non-HDR because of wind movement.

You could confirm whether you took your shots with HDR+ or without, just be seeing the resolution.

Shots taken with HDR+ are slightly lower resolution(3200 x 2368) versus regular shots which are(3264 x 2448).

Btw are you considering upgrading to the Nexus 6 for the camera?

Note sure yet. I'd have to see if it is better enough to merit the purchase. The Nexus 5 already has a good camera, and the Nexus 6 will be twice as expensive and a lot bigger. I might just get a real DSLR instead.

I'm not sure this is the right way to post a Q here, I'm new at this forum, anyway:
I'm just trying to learn a vid editing program (lightworks), and it will accept just a specific fps (25 frames per second). N5 cam however shoots at 29.97 fps. Is there any way to tweak N5 cam to a desired fps rate?

This is what I am currently using as my wallpaper on both my PC and tablet/Pbone. This HAS been modified via photoshop. The blur is deliberate, as it allows me to see my clock widget (otherwise the top of the picture is too busy and makes the clock hard to see...I'd recommend everyone do this for busy wallpapers, as it helps a lot without ruining the image).

This was the original unmodified image. The trees are part of the landscaping at a Wendy's here in Denver.

So whatever your thoughts are (good, bad, mediocre) of the quality of performance of the Nexus 5's camera, check this out to get an idea of what the new accessibility of control to developers could mean in terms of what we can hope for...

I'd be surprised if we didn't see the stock camera app substantially upgraded with 5.0 hitting.

Wow...here is a before/after comparison. Left side is the current camera.

Can't wait to play with it.

Since I can't buy a Nexus6 I decided to act like my Nexus5 is a new phone. Bought a new case and decided to take and share a bunch of colorful pics. Here are some of my socks and ties.

All pics are hdr+ taken inside.

My GX7 stayed at home for this trip but my Nexus5 did better than I expected. The Monterey Bay Aquarium is simply excellent, but of course it's noisy and has poor lighting for photography. I deleted lots of shots but I thought these were worth sharing.

Took some pics and shot a few videos of my son's hockey practice this past weekend with my Nexus 5. I put them all together and added the Hockey Night in Canada music with iMovie.

I think the quality is decent, especially considering it's not the best lighting in the rink and everything was shot through the plexiglass window around the ice.
