If there is a SIM slot you can access, then yes. I don't see any reason why not.

I think the better bet would be buying at Best Buy now that they have reduced to $449. The chances of a Sprint store letting you purchase it without activation while not being a customer is low. Especially true given they will likely have limited initial supply which is almost always reserved for contract re-terms and new activations.
