YouTube app only allowing shares via Gmail

When i press the Share icon in the YouTube app, instead of having a list of options to choose from, i'm taken directly to the Gmail app to share the video via email. Not sure how or why this happened, as i haven't changed any settings, but it's really annoying. I've tried clearing the data from both apps, i've uninstalled/re-installed updates for them, rebooted my N5, but to no avail. Does anyone have any other ideas as to how i might be able to fix this?

All signs point to the possibility that you accidentally hit "always" when gmail was selected.

Not sure if it will work but go into both apps under settings and hit clear defaults.

Thanks, but i checked that as well, and the option to clear defaults is grayed out for both.

There are apps in the play store that can help you set and clear defaults for your apps. Maybe one of them can track down where this got selected.

I went ahead and did a factory reset which solved the problem, but i'll look for some of the apps you mentioned just in case this problem ever occurs in the future. Thank you.
