So I imported about 2000 contacts into Google contacts. All the names show but no numbers. Can anyone help?

Were the contacts previously saved as "Mobile" or "Home" numbers on your previous smartphone? Because if not, this could be the reason the numbers aren't showing up.

They were originally part of an excel and I converted to CSV

I had a similar issue a while back with contacts. I ended up having to edit the spreadsheet and remove all columns that didn't have matches. To see what is importing/exporting, add a contact to your Google address book online with phone numbers, ie; home, mobile, etc. The export that list to a spreadsheet and compare it to the one you originally created. You should then be able to determine what columns to delete, edit, etc.
