I'm a former Bostonian in Jerusalem and recently noticed this price for a new Nexus 5 at a popular online electronics shop: $785-. BTW, last July I paid $610- for my Nexus 4. Both phones are unlocked without a wireless carrier's plan.
Sure, these items are cheaper abroad. However, to get the licensed importer's warranty, one must pay through the nose locally.

Hey, Mike. Quite the racket, huh? Whatever the traffic will bear. I'd love to go back to Jerusalem. I spent two months in Ramat HaSharon three years ago.
