is there only one nexus for every carrier in the US?

hey all, I have a question that might be obvious but im new to this realm of the cell phone world and wanted to ask. I am looking to buy a nexus 5 off contract (my first time ever doing this) and use it on sprint, but eventually plan to switch to tmobile. i know some phone only work on one carrier (only works or sprint for example and a different model is needed to work on tmobile and vise versa). is this the case with the nexus 5? are there different phones from each carrier or is there only one variety of hardware compatible with both sprint AND tmobile? thanks for your help!

Nope. There is only one version of the Nexus 5 sold in the U.S.
It will work on any carrier except Verizon

Yes, the same Nexus 5 works on Sprint, T-Mobile and Att in the US.
