i have few questions about live wallpapers usage in Nexus 5.

    1. how many of you are using live wallpapers DAILY?
    2. does live wallpapers decrease the performance of the phone (games, browsing, etc.)?
    3. how fast does the battery drain using live wallpapers 24/7, is there a test conducted for this already?

    Thanks

I use live wallpapers all the time. Battery usage and performance degradation really depend on the wallpaper, and how complex its functions are. In my Getting Started guide, I list a number of live wallpapers that I have found to be easy on the battery: http://forums.androidcentral.com/gen...14-part-i.html

I have been using a live wallpaper for a couple of years now and have not noticed any real degradation of performance or battery life. This is the one I use and I liked it so much I bought the paid version: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...e.koipond_free

I like the Google Edition live wallpaper, now that I have the nexus 5 I'm using it.

I had it for only 48 hours and yesterday I still had 36% after over 12 hours usage.
