Is anyone having a similar problem or maybe a solution?
I have three @sbcglobal.net email accounts accessing mail using IMAP incoming/outgoing server settings.
They worked fine sending and receiving mail on both Wifi and LTE Network (T-Mobile) when I first set them up on Saturday with my new Nexus 5 32GB (batch 310). Kitkat 4.4.2.
Now, I can consistently SEND email but only occasionally can sign-in for receiving mail when on LTE network.
incoming: imap.mail.yahoo.com: - Note: android.imap.mail.yahoo.com gave errors on LTE but worked on Wifi.
Security: SSL/TSL, port 993
(have also tried SSL/TSL All certificates)
Outgoing: android.smtp.mail.yahoo.com:
Security: SSL/TSL, port 465
Note: outgoing smtp.mail.yahoo.com seemed to work ok on Wifi also.
Note: by occasionally I mean during the last 4 45-minutes commute, I was only able to see it sign-in successfully 3 times, twice on one account, once on a different account.
The reason I am using IMAP is because IMAP is supposed to work better than POP3 when accessing mail with different devices. Also, when I used the standard @SBCglobal POP3 servers, I consistently got errors signing in.
