Upgrade Sprint phone to Nexus 5 then use it on AT&T and put old phone back on account twice?
I've got an interesting problem for you guys and I know it'll work hardware wise I'm just not sure how it'll work out with sprint. Basically I have two sprint plans, one with three phones and one with two phones. One phone on the "Two Phone" line is available for upgrade. "My phone" on the "Three Phone" line has an upgrade next week. Amazon has a sale for the "sprint" version of the Nexus 5 for $35. Read that a few times and now here is where the complexity comes in.
My girlfriend is on an AT&T line, not sure what plan but she has data and is using a crappy android phone she got for $80 at BB. The one phone available for an upgrade on the "Two Phone" line is basically up for grabs so I figured I would buy a nexus 5 on that account, and then put it on my number on the "Three Phone" line and switch my current phone (galaxy s3") to the freshly upgraded line.
Now, a week later I would buy the hopefully still discounted Nexus on "My Phone's" line from the "three phone line" for $35, using my upgrade, and when it arrives i'd give it to my girlfriend at which point she pops in her AT&T sim card and has a new phone.
Can anyone see any flaws to this plan on the Sprint side of things? Thanks for reading

One thing that jumps out at me is that often deals like this require the phone to be activated on the specific carrier that's offering the deal, and possibly maintained as an active device for a certain amount of time. This could be an issue with the plan to give one of the phones to your GF.
