Nexus 5 call waiting problem

When I am on a phone call on my nexus 5 , I am unable to receive anyone who calls me as long as my phone is busy. I can see the 2nd call coming in but nothing happens when I try to receive it.

Welcome to the forums. What carrier are you on? Have you tried a restart?

Thanks for replying. I'm from India using Vodafone here. But I got it imported from the US. The problem has been there since the beginning. I don't know if it was there before i updated it to 4.4.2 because i didn't try it then. I also checked today that I can't put someone on hold and nothing happens also when I try to call another person when I'm already on a call. All these problems are related right ? since it deals with me already being on a call.

Here how I solved it:

Go To Dialer --> Options (3 Vertical Dots) --> Settings --> Call Settings --> Scroll Down --> Additional Settings --> Check 'Call Waiting'

That doesnt solves the problem either... I too have this problem I am from India Bought Nexus 5 in India and my carrier is Reliance GSM.

Hi, I am having exactly the same problem.

I am from Brazil, diferent carrier and different Phone (oneplusone).

Only thing in common is Android so guessing this might be the cause.

Couldnt find and answer though.

If anyone discovers please tell.
